Weekly Pottery Classes
On Tuesday and Friday evenings, I teach pottery classes for both beginners and advanced students. Drawing on my years of experience as a production potter and artist, I’ll teach you the basics of pottery or the finer points of the craft during these classes. For beginners, I’ll teach you how to center the wheel, throw a cylinder (the basic shape you always start with), shape your piece, and create your first pieces of tableware or vases. For advanced students, I’ll carefully assess where I can help you improve your wheel-throwing techniques and achieve your goals. I’ll focus on production throwing, large-scale throwing, design, and more complex forms.

Master Classes
To really delve deeply into a subject, it’s nice to spend an entire weekend focusing on a single technique. Or even several… I offer masterclasses on topics such as large-scale throwing, teapots, and glaze knowledge. The glaze knowledge masterclass is spread over three Saturdays because the greatest joy comes from discussing the glaze tests!

Group Requests
Would you like to come potter with a group for a morning, afternoon, or evening? You can! Feel free to stop by with your coworkers, family, or friends. I’ll teach you the basics of pottery and make sure everyone has thrown their own little bowl by the end of the class. The bowls will be fired afterward so that everyone takes home a lovely memento of the workshop. The maximum group size is 8 people. Summer Pottery Course
This summer, I’m opening up my studio for anyone interested in taking a pottery class—no obligation. Have you always wanted to sit behind the potter’s wheel to experience the magic of pottery? Has it been on your bucket list for years? Or are you looking for a special summer activity to do during your vacation? During these three weeks, you can join one of three time slots on Thursdays and Fridays to spend 2.5 hours getting creative with clay. There’s room for a maximum of 8 people, so Liselore has time to give everyone plenty of attention.
